The Vend\u00e9e has kilometers upon kilometers of bicycle paths (1,150 kilometers!), allowing you to cover a large part of the region. During your cycling trips, you will come across a patchwork of landscapes: dunes, forests, marshlands and beaches…
The Vend\u00e9e is a true paradise for holidaymakers who enjoy this way to get around. You will find many marked circuits<\/strong>, and on a largely flat terrain! Which makes the bike trips accessible to all levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Petit Paris campsite is ideally situated, directly off the cycling paths<\/strong>. Hop on your bike and ride along the coast with the wind in your hair. You can just feel the gust of freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campsite is also very close to the famous V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e. It is the longest cycling route in France. It runs through Brittany and along the Atlantic Ocean to the Basque Coast. So if you want to stop at the Camping le Petit Paris during your trip, know that we have the “Accueil v\u00e9lo” label which guarantees all the necessary comforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you wish to rent bicycles, “Le V\u00e9loo de la For\u00eat”<\/strong> <\/em>is the place to go <\/em>. You will find children’s, adult’s and electric bikes and various accessories.

From Ch\u00e2teau d’Olonne to Bourgenay<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Difficulty : Easy
Distance : 7,1 km (6,1 km paved and 1 km sand\/earth)
Time: under 30 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Itinerary: Puits d’Enfer, Saint-Jean d’Orbestier Abbey, Cayola Bay, Bourgenay Woods, Veillon dunes beach, Guitti\u00e8re marshlands and oyster port<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow the path and discover the Vend\u00e9e coastline, whether with friends, family or alone, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the ocean while riding along the rocky coast. Between woods and beaches, come and admire the Saint-Jean d’Orbestier Abbey, a historical monument from the 12th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will enjoy the view across the Bay of Cayola, and finish your journey on the dunes of the Veillon Beach and then at the Guitti\u00e8re Oyster Port where you can taste oysters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Around Les Sables-d’Olonne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distance: 17 km (10.9 km paved and 6.1 km sand\/earth)
Time : over 1 hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Itinerary: Sauveterre Beach, salt marshes, Paracou Beach, in the heart of Sables-d’Olonne and the Puits d’Enfer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take this path and discover Sables-d’Olonne and its surroundings. From the Sauveterre Beach, you can enjoy a superb view of the ocean while riding along the beach and the coast. Continuing your way through the forest, you will cross the salt marshes and will then arrive in Sables-d’Olonne. Soak up the rich heritage of Sables-d’Olonne through the Chaume, the Port Olona or the Penotte island…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your journey will end at the Puits d’Enfer after having followed the rocky coast. You will have a spectacular view of the ocean and this fracture in the cliff. A little more effort and you’ll arrive at Camping le Petit Paris.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
